General Program Description
Pima Medical Institute/Albuquerque Campus offers a fully acrredited PTA Program over 75 weeks of instructional time through an integrated program format. The Campus is located in the largest metropolitan area of New Mexico.
Clinical Experiences
Clinical experiences include a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. Clinical sites are located in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Las Cruces, and throughout surrounding states so that the student has opportunites in urban and rural settings. We have contracts with 106 clinical facilities.The clinical education portion of the program is 16 weeks divided into one 2 week clinical followed by two 7 weeks clinical rotations.

Admission
Admissions process involves an appointment with a medical career specialist, a math test, Wonderlic test, writing sample, and an interview with the PTA faculty members. For the current first year class, 50 students were interviewed and 32 were accepted into the program.

Tuition, fees and financial aid
Financial aid department works with students to secure loans and aid.
Student life
Commuter school. Students are encouraged to participate in volunteer activities alongside PTs, PTAs, and other healthcare providers.
