We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated PT professionals to work at NYCPT’s main location in Staten Island.
Through our affiliation with the Sports Science Lab (SSL), a world-class facility focused on measuring and quantifying the subtleties and complexities of athletic movement through the use of state-of-the-art sports science technologies such as 3D motion capture and kinematics analysis system, our patients have access to the most advanced technologies and recovery modalities. The technology at the Sports Science Lab is currently being used by leading hospitals, human performance labs, professional organizations such as the MLB, NFL, MLS, NBA, UFC, and the United States Olympic training center. A sports physiotherapist, who also is an adjunct professor at Columbia University, and his team of biomechanists, leads our Sports Science Lab research team.
SSL has been featured in leading media publications such as Sports Illustrated, Gear Patrol, Sporttechie, National Geographic, Yahoo, Reuters, iQ by Intel, MSN and Men’s Fitness.
Required Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of outpatient experience with an emphasis on orthopedic diagnoses. Candidate must possess strong communication skills (verbal and written), strong interpersonal skills and experience in using a web-based documentation system, such as WebPT.
