    HI – I run a lot, and after running/walking (easy) for 24 hours on an injured foot (unknown injury involving the Achilles tendon area), I have tried to recover for almost six months. Had an mri a couple of months ago and there was a small amount of fluid in the retrocalcaneal bursa. Wore a boot for three weeks and then I have been walking, lots of biking, and doing heel raises. The foot still feels a bit weak and stiff in the bursa area, but no pain though. I am just wondering if this sounds like I am on my way to recovery. I am just puzzled as to why there is still some weakness and stiffness after over a month of taking the walking boot off.
