    Hi folks,

Have any of you researched laser therapy for pain management? I’ve seen some publications on low level laser therapy for pain treatment, but so far my reading has been inconclusive at best. I was wondering if any of you have studied it? Research isn’t really my area, but recently I’ve been inclined to look into these newer methods because of my chronic pain and I see some of my loved ones having muscle and joint pains as well, I thought it would be a good time to spread my wings in our field. Any thoughts on these at home laser therapy devices? They’re selling well on the market, but the studies I’ve read are conflicting at best, some say LLLT is good and can treat pain, while some say it’s yet to be really proven. I know nothing beats healthy diets and a regular exercise routine / physical activity which is what we PTs live for, but care to share what you know about this field? Would it be good to use with regular physical activity? Does it really work for pain?
