General Program Description
Students are admitted in May and complete the program 24 months later, in May. Each academic year includes a spring and fall semester. General education courses may be taken in the first summer semester and must be completed by the end of the first fall semester. The physical therapist assistant courses are taken in the fall and spring semesters.
Clinical Experiences
Students complete four full-time clinical experiences in facilities in North and South Carolina. The first two are each 18 days in length within the second fall semester; the last two are each 24 days in length within the second spring semester.Faculty

Work experience in a physical therapy clinic for at least 6 months within the last 5 years is worth two additional points. Tuition for the 2014-15 academic year for in-state students is $72.00 per credit hour with an $1152.00 ceiling per semester; out-of-state tuition is $264.00 per credit hour with a $4224.00 ceiling per semester. The Student Activity fee is $35 per semester and the maximum lab fee is $168.00 per semester. A CAPS (campus access, parking and security) fee of $97.00 per semester is charged, as well as a technology fee of $48.00 per semester. Mandatory accident insurance is $1.60 and liability insurance $7.50 per semester.Student life
